THE WEDDING CEREMONY
Let the beauty of nature and rustic charm be the inspiration for your wedding day. You may simply choose to hold your ceremony under the 350 year old fig trees or one of our other ceremony options within Old Petrie Town and follow with one of our affordable personalised reception packages. Old Petrie Town is the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs with stunning old buildings and natural landscapes. It’s a wedding photographer’s dream location. THE RECEPTION
Your wedding reception can be anything you want it to be. From a formal dinner in the Heritage or Pioneer Rooms to a relaxed informal canapés and drinks on the verandah of the Heritage Hotel.
Our most popular function room, the Pioneer Room, is a magical Barn style reception room with sweeping verandas and beautiful bush views. Boasting a large stage area, Barn style chandelier and beautiful polished wooden floors to compliment your wedding, The Pioneer Room will leave lasting memories for you and your guests. The Pioneer room can cater up to 150 guests seated and 200 standing.
The Heritage Room, is a traditional Wedding reception venue seating up to 80 guests banquet style and 140 standing. With polished timber floors and warm accents, with beautiful pendant lighting this space invites elegant and sophisticated wedding styling. The Heritage Room includes a central staircase for your grand entrance, private bar and facilities.
The Deck & Garden, is an expansive indoor-outdoor location, incorporating the veranda, deck area, rotunda, lawns and a children’s playground. Beautifully shaded by tall Gum Trees and Moreton Bay Figs, this space is ideal for weddings with live entertainment and suits both formal and informal occasions. Seating up to 120 guests banquet style and 200 guests standing.

PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
35 minutes’ drive north of the CBD and catering to special events from 10 to 300 guests, the Heritage Hotel and Function centre specialises in birthday milestones, 18th’s, 21st’s, 40th and 50th’s, engagement parties, social club lunches and dinners, anniversary dinners and family events. The Heritage Hotel and Function Centre offers a variety of indoor and outdoor function spaces. Menus and packages can be tailored to suit your budget and most of all, we encourage you to be creative.
